Similarly, BNBL provides an attractive fixed deposit schemes to Bhutanese individuals/firms/ corporations/agencies. The revised rates for Individuals are as follows:

3 months – 1 year	5.0 %	1. Interest rate on Pre-mature withdrawal will be 1% less than the prevailing deposit period interest rate.. 2. Minimum deposit period shall be 90 days.

3 years – 5years	7.5 %
5 years and above	8.0 %

For all other categories, fixed deposit interest rate is as in the following:

Please note that the following documents are required before opening of the accounts:
1. Duly signed account opening form;
2. Attested copy of the Citizenship Identity Card for individuals,
3. Board Resolution, Article of Association, Copy of the License, List of Authorised Signatories, etc. for other than individuals.
4. 2 passport size photograph of the individual / license holder.
